No one really knows from where Chris
hails. Some say he was raised amongst the wild bulls of the Pampas. Others have
speculated that he was born on a hilltop in Highland Park. Be that as it may,
we discovered him on a disreputable Eagle Rock street corner, a one man band playing
traditional polka tunes to enthralled hobos. Observing how Chris simulateously
handled trumpet, guitar, and (of course) taiko drums, brought to mind the combination
punching of a skilled fighter. In
order to test this theory, Senpai Jeremy launched a surprise attack on the young
musician. Though Chris failed to thwart the assault of a 200 pound black belt,
his spirit impressed us mightily, as did the court order that ruled we must supply
him with 2 years of free lessons. Two years later, the bond is stronger than ever.
Chris "Taiko" Tokita is much more than a one-man band; he is now a one-man
mangling monopoly of martial mayhem. Beware... TOURNAMENT
